Checking for Charity

The For Pete’s Sake Nordiques play Friday at 5:25pm (Hollydell), again on Friday at 9:40pm (Hollydell), Saturday at 9:25am (Hollydell), and Saturday at 3:05pm ( Flyers skatezone located in Voorhees).

Kristian Massanova, JR shared the following regarding their connection to the FPS mission:

3 years ago I was organizing a Spikeball tournament in order to support For Pete’s Sake. The idea came about when my friend’s mother lost her battle with cancer. I thought it would be a good idea to help show our support, and when myself and her son were looking through charities, we stumbled across FPS.

We loved your organization’s mission and loved the idea of giving families a way to get away from the world and not have any worries. We really resonated with the idea of giving these families lifelong memories that they will cherish forever. So last year we started doing this annual hockey tournament. The guys were asking if anyone had a charity they would like to represent, and I told them all about FPS and all the great work you all do. So we decided to represent your organization every year at this tournament.
